Delete data in Girandi

Remove the data from your device

In Girandi you can delete single wheels, edit or remove names and party players, and clear the history (History > "Clear history"). To remove all data of the app, open Apps > Girandi > Storage in the Android settings and clear the storage, or uninstall the app (the menu names can differ slightly from phone to phone). This removes your wheels, names, party players and challenges, the history, rewards, settings, the purchase check, your ad choices, the ad counters and the data for Pro offers. A copy in your own Android backup stays in your Google account until Android replaces it; you can switch the backup off in the Android settings. Pictures, lists and links you shared stay where you sent them. Your Pro purchase stays with your Google account. Data that the ad services received stays with them; you can reset or delete the advertising ID in the Android settings.

Exported files

Girandi has no export to a file. When you choose, you can share a wheel as a link, as a QR code or as a picture, a result as a picture, and the list of drawn names, the teams or (with Pro) your history as text. This goes through the Android share menu, or you copy the link yourself; the app or person you pick receives the content (see "Sharing and opening wheels").

Backups

Android backup is switched on for your wheels, names, party players and challenges, history, rewards and settings (the app files datastore/spinly.json and datastore/spinly.preferences_pb). They are copied into your own backup in your Google account and move with a transfer to a new phone. The purchase check, the ad counters, your ad choices and the data for Pro offers are not part of it. We have no access to your backup. You can switch it off in the Android settings.

Emails you sent us

Emails you sent us are stored separately from the app. To have them deleted, write to info@farusone.com.

Data of the ad services

We do not receive the data the ad services collect (see the privacy policy, "External services"). Write to info@farusone.com and we answer within one month: we delete what we hold about you, explain which service is responsible and forward your request to it if you wish.

Right away in the app: Settings > "Privacy choices for ads" withdraws your consent and stops all ads. You can also delete the advertising ID in the Android settings. With Pro the app no longer loads ads at all.
